Just had a call from the garage. They are fitting a new HiFi (just a simple CD system) whilst the car is in for a through check over + cam belts, oil seals etc...
Problem sir - every speaker is drawing power as well as signal.

Well it seems each speaker has it's own amp - to fit this HiFi we are going to have to re wire the sound system.
