I was looking at a bmw m3 the other day and i thought of putting a set shocks in the hood in my z. Anyone of u did it?

I mean the 2 shocks 1 on each side that hold the hood when u opened it

I was looking around for these a while ago and couldn't find them for a Z.

If you do come across them, let me know.

I guess they are pretty universal, however the Z bonne is damn light so don't get powerful ones else you might end up with the bonnet hitting you in the face when you pull the catch (:rofl: :rofl: sorry just imagining that happen to someone :rofl: ). And of course after a while they lose pressure and the bonnet begins to slowly fall down while you're working, which can also prove embarassing. I'd just have the stock bonnet prop chromed or something. Oh yes and the small problem that the strut would probably make removal of the battery near impossible.
