how much skin can you take off your knuckles removing your air box:mad: had to hacksaw the brackets off the bugger to get it out. then to top it all the apexi instructions were all in japanise:confused:. aint had time to test it yet but it sounds cool:D

Spent about 20 minutes getting the "secret" bolts out :)

 

you can do it with patince, bit tight though,

Please dont tell me you have to use the instructions to fit the A'PEXi. Its real easy.

Mike, you really think it made a noticable difference? Can't say I noticed any real gain after fitting my Blitz. Are you really gonna notice 5-6hp on top of 300hp??

I think I had breathing problems, Gtech was reading 212bhp before the induction and last reading average I got was 227bhp so thats a massive difference, its freeer through the rev range and 3rd gear pulls like noones business :)

 

Defiently made a difference to my car,

Mine too, big difference, it had a mongoose zoerst and decat so the breathing was really freed up :cool:

Sounds like ditching the airbox is a good idea. How much is an apexi or simialr set up going to rob me, just out of interest?
