As I sit here with my cold, blowing my nose after the 50th sneezing fit of the day, I wondered where the hell does snot come from?

What organ produces this thick slimey goow and for what reason.

Just doesnt make sence.

I leave you with that thought.

I think its the lungs, theyre full of snot, i try to keep mine flushed out by inhaling lots of smoke!!!!:D ;)

It's a form of Nasal saliva used to keep the nasal passages from completely drying up, however this is not googy in it's raw form, the dust particles that we breath in makes it thicker thus producing snott.

As we use our nasal passage more for breathing, the snott now infested with dust particles dries an starts to harden.

If you see a bunny

With his nose all wet and runny
