I'm not sure how much money was exchanged but it wasn't cheap!!

 

He does the art for a living now, and he's pretty damn good at it too!! (see above...:D )

 

As I said, I need to get a frame now and it will be hanging up soon!

Thought I might pop my head up and say that if anyone is looking to have their beloved Z captured for posterity, I'm a practising artist (and now part-time lecturer) and have been for nearly 10 years (B.A., M.A.)...;) My exhibition stuff takes the form of sculpture/installation art mainly in conjuction with the art "collective" I work with (http://home.clara.net/aas/) but the majority of my bread and butter commissions are for abstract paintings, line-drawing and sketch work....Not taking anything away from the other chap but just thought I'd let you folks know...;)

Telephone Number: 01452 540685 and they are based in Gloucester.

 

You will be looking at paying between £170 - £300 for a commissioned drawing of your Z (remember, you get what you pay for ;) plus the price varies on what you are looking at having done i.e. size, colour etc...)

 

The artist that did mine was Jamie Boots, so if you want him to do it you have to ask Ben for Jamie to do the drawing.

 

You get your drawing, a certificate of authenticity and a covering letter telling you about the artist and the piece you have had commissioned.

 

Tell him you got the details from me! :D I might get some commission.......LOL :D

It was mine m8, that's why I went on to study for a Graphic design degree and now design and set books for a living, I also commission a lot of artists so I know just how good some artists are out there.

The quality of the picture that Matty's g/f comissioned was the standard that I, and other friends, was achieving at 'O' level, but then I was a very average student in all my other subjects, it was just in art that I excelled.
