Seems as though we may have a few guitar enthusiasts on here.

I own a couple of cheap guitars as I'm a beginner.

I have a :

Stagg Acoustic

Legend Stratocaster (electric) - Huge Stage Amp (dual valve or something - this thing is stupidly loud)

Legend Bass (electric) - Park Marshal Amp (will be selling this set up soon, as I don't use it - anyone interested ?)

I play mainly lead riffs, but I'm starting to learn a few more cords now as I've only even learn the basic A, E, C, G & D.

I can feel the Billing band pictures coming back on :)

I got a few, used to play as a bedroom guitarist:)

I actually picked up my acoustic the other day for the first time in 5 years

forgotten how bloody hard they are to play.

I can sort of play a few bars from a few songs but thats about it.

I can do a little and i do mean a little lead work.

got a nice Yam FX550 effects rack and a nice little valve marshall amp. Guitars I got are cheap crappo ones, tho I was just looking at getting a STAGG copy of a Les Paul in White (Darkness style).

My mate who lived with me when he split up with his missus a few years back bought me a POD as a thank you present for puttin ghim up, never really got round to using it properly yet, but I'm sure I'll start playing around with it once I get better.

Stuart, did you get an electric or acoustic ?

Im after an electric one, due to one of many genetic misfortunes im left handed, so am debating picking up a right handed and learnig that way or learning hendrix style or just buying a left handed guitar lol

so many option ;)

Johnny @ GPS has about 6 and Boy can he play real good, make no mistake!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it just me or does that guitar look a little on the small side

Fender Precision bass

Kramer electric (1980s)

Washburn electric

Cuenca Spanish

Aria acoustic

Aria 12-string

banjo

banjo-mandolin

ukulele

If any of you guys want any music stuff, drop me a PM.

My parents own a music store, so can get pretty good deals.

Thats what I got. Lovely bass notes :D

Me. ;)

1 extremely gigged-out and knackered Yamaha with dodgy Floyd Rose Trem, warped neck and "aftermarket" (heh-heh;)) Seymour Duncan pick-ups. This thing would withstand a nuclear holocaust. God I love that guitar.

1 Takamine "Dreadnought style" acoustic, equally long in the tooth.

1 Classical guitar of indeterminate origin bought from Cancer Research for a tenner.:p

Electric runs through a 25th anniversary Laney solid state amp...no need for "warm" sounding over-priced valve amps in my set-up...run it through my effects processor and I can make it sound however I want...

And the whole mess eventually ends up being lobbed into Cubase.

My best mate and I have been into music since we we're sixteen and in very naff bands together. He's about to take voluntary redundancy so we can get together, combine our stuff from seperate projects and give it our best shot before we hit the big "three-zero". Kind of an all-or-nothing, do or die situation!

By the way, as much as I love my "old faithful", I gotta admit I'm seriously considering cheating on her. The object of my affection: a Gibson Les Paul Studio Gothic...Jesus...she's beautiful...hey J.D. what were you saying!;) :D

I've got...

a westone rainbow I semi

a Vintage EVH

a Simon & Patrick cedar accoustic

a pod 2

a Fender strat being delivered today  where is that bloody van!!

Can't really play any of them  but I love it

Anyone played with powertab software much? Just discovered it recently. Absoltely fantastic for learning and playing along with.

Finally arrived today

Fantastic!

Got my wheel bearing too so get the zed back on the road tomorrow (hangover permitting!)

I just been playing with a Digitech RP100 effects processor. For the price you can pick one of these up they're well worth it - fully patch programmable (Brian May sound is pretty good) + a built in drum machine. I got a Yamaha FX550 Effects processor with MIDI on it which does sound better but the cost of it was far greater (at the time I think I paid £450 for it).

I might sell it and get an RP200A or RP300.

i use a good old acustic gutar, being playing for a bout a year and a half and can just about play house of the rising sun!!

i was offerd a place in a band last week!!

as a van driver LOL!!!

'89 Les Paul standard

ESP tele'

I've had far too many others......

Les Paul '72 custom

Les Paul '99 studio double cutaway

Fender jap strat

Fender USA strat "HEAVY METAL!!!!!!!"

Tokai strat (better than both the fenders!)

Jim Birch Custom

Charvel Superstrat

Yamaha Superstrat

And a host of $hite that I'm too embarressed to mention.

Now I'm not playing in a band any more(boo hoo:cry:) I've sold most of my stuff...... just got 2 guitars and my Marshall stack left. In fact if the head gasket job on my car gets too dear, I may be reduced to selling these too:rolleyes:

Used to play a Washburn bass, copy of a Stienburger & not a shit one at £700 + new although I got it for 250 second hand.

Been in bands since 2nd year high & I'm 38 now, but I havn't played for about 8 years properly.

Never imagined so many guitarists on here.

SRRAE, if you want the basics, come down some time, your not so far from me. We'll have you pumping some chords out in an hour, :)

Shit the bed. Awesome. Got a couple of Ibanez Jems one Jackson a couple of Ibanez RG series and one custom built weapon a built myself. I use the pod in unison with the p.c setup processing.

This is one great way of having some fun without getting speeding tickets. Getting in trouble with women. I got some great mates through music. A true 1st love.

Steve Lukather, Vai/Satriani/Eddie/ Vinnie moore/ Macalpine/ Pat metheny etc

Guys we should get together.

Happy new year

Cheers Macca
