I think that my Mrs is one of the most unluckiest women I know.
Yesterday, she had her 3rd non fault accident for the past 24 months. Now, for those who know me, I am the first to say that the majority of women drivers are shite and I will freely say so in any argument, and have done so several times in the past.
However, yesterday she was driving behind a "white Tranny van" SUPRISE SUPRISE!!! who indicated left to pull in to and park along the curb side. Whilst the Mrs was indicating right to go round him, he decided that he obviously did not want to park there and promptly pulled straight out whilst the Mrs was along side him.
Luckily, she noticed his moronic manuevour, and swurved to avoid him(luckily there was no oncoming traffic), but drove in to the curb on the opposite side of the road.
She gets out, he gets out. "You ok love?". "What the bloody hell do you think you are doing?" - "Sorry love, I didn't see" - "Didn't see me? - How can you miss me? I'm not driving a mini".
Anyway, the Mrs is pregnant and she had the little one in the baby seat in the back. RAC attended proptly and towed the car home. I haven't had time to check it out but on initiatial inspection, most of the air has come out of the front right tyre. Possible tyre and wheel damage...etc.
She got the company details and I have called the the boss this morning. I don't expect him to call back so I will call at 2pm to chase up. If I get no joy, I am going to report his driver to the police for wrecklass driving but do you guys have any suggestions?
I can't see that it's fair that I take it out on the owner but it's not fair that they don't cover the cost of the inspection and any repairs.
