December 17, 200322 yr Taking my MR2 off the road to do as a project and am thinking of buying this http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/WWW/CARS_popup.asp?modelexact=1&make=NISSAN&model=300+ZX&min_pr=1000&max_pr=2000&postcode=yo26+6pb&miles=60&max_records=50&source=0&sort=3&start=1&distance=57&adcategory=CARS&channel=CARS&id=200349121574126 as a runabout and gonna keepthis an do it up too, think it's a SWB model......what do you reckon if the price is right ? It's been in the trader for a while so if I go with a wedge might get it reduced quite a bit...
December 17, 200322 yr Paste the url into address bar, I can't edit the frigger ! and the link doesn't work !
December 17, 200322 yr Not an expert by along shot. But if you can knock him down another hundered or so then you are into throw away car money, and you could make your purchase price back in parting it out. Tax and MOT? Or at least MOT? Nice shine on it.
December 18, 200322 yr Couldn't get that link to work, even with cut and paste... but did a search on max 3 grand and got one with a damaged front spoiler for 1200 quid. Is that the one? NA automatic for a grand says "daily driver" to me...! But a front impact could have screwed all sorts up - Z radiators are fragile enough at that age as it is! I keep thinking about getting an NA Z32 if I can't afford a 350 next year and keeping the TT as a project car...
December 18, 200322 yr That's the one. But a new rad is only £350, it's not as if there are intercoolers and other gubbins hanging off the front. And in the picture it looked intact-ish so a low speed shunt? Could be a good project car for someone who knows their way around a toolbox and fancies the the body kit route.. Edit - Appears to be sold now.
