My Jap Z is boosting to +5 x100mmHg on the stock gauge. Is this standard and what's this in PSI etc?

I have a JWT ECU, K&N, HKS Dragger and need a boost upgrade.

Where can I get a cheap one from? (I assume they are all pretty much the same - I don't think I need a controller unless at a very good price)

Also need a water temp guage and boost guage.

I heard 15PSI is about the max to go to - is this right?

If you have the JWT ECU then the boost jets that come with it should have been fitted to give you about 1bar of boost.

If they aren`t fitted then either get the correct jets or welding tip thingy`s!!

You could get an adjustable boost controller. They seem to vary from under a couple of hundred up to towards £400 for the Blitz jobbies, but I'm sure Johnny could do you a good deal.

My boost jets were removed by the previous owner.

Where can I get 'em?

So much for a cheap upgrade...

I couldn't wait so I've exchanged some more negative figures on the old bendy plastic for a water temp, boost guage, double A pillar gauge mount and best of all - a spangly Blitz Dual SBC controller from Johnny!

I can feel the power already biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
