Well, well, well, after last weeks escapade with Nissan telling me they don't have a 300 Zx model, I rang again to find out where my new targa seals where?

after a 30 mins argument the the F******G morons I told them to F**K off and I'll get the seals somewhere else, as they couldn.t find my order or anything else to do with it?

Where else can I get these? I've looked at all the Z related sites I know but I cn't find anybody that does seals, any ideas

Please help as I don't want to go back to Nissan to get them.

Cheers

...sorry to hear your Nissan dealer is not able to help. Are your seals really bad? - I ask, because mine have been refreshed by the use of Nylon and Rubber lubricant. I comes in a yellow aerosol can from Halfords. Paint it on the seals and they come up like new. at £3.99 it's worth a try. It's also great for all rubber to metal suspension joint (cured a loud knock from the top of each shock absorber) and great for getting rid of the vibration from the propshaft - spray the centre bearing and the uv's.

good luck

How much were the seals from (or not from!)Nissan?

Need some myself.

If you dare phone Nissan again....the part number is: 73968-30P00 (These are the rubber welts that fit on the roof - for the glass to seal against.)

The part number for the rubber bit that is fixed to the removable panel itself (for the side window to seal against) is (and I may be wrong on this one): 91774-30P00 (its hard to tell on these crappy two-colour schematics)

Si.

I've just seen my man at the garage, he seems to think he can do a goos repair as one of the seals are split, its the bit that runs around the car not the galss bit.

As for the price from Nissan I never asked because knew it would be expensive, but at least now I've got a bit more time to source some.

Still if anybody knows where, please tell me

Regards
