I guess the boss has relented and forgiven me as she bought me a copy of Autocar and Motor from May 1990 which had their initial road test for the Nissan 300ZX.
For: Brawny performance, presence, good dry road grip, price
Against: Excessive tyre roar, poor wet road grip, economy.
It sums up to say: "The 300ZX is not a car of subtle charms or lights hidden beneath thick bushels. It lets the driver enjoy its high tech hardare, but, when you get right down to it, it is an up-front old fashioned bruiser which begs to be driven hard and fast as often as possible."

Well that says it all. Hasn't it aged well?
