Im Co organiser of a 24 hr endurance indoor Go Karting race at end of feb 04.

The race will cost £300/team of up to 12 drivers over 24 hrs

cracking value for money.

Heres the catch the team has to raise a minimum of £500 for charity which you raise and bring along and race for on the night

All charity money is given back to winning charities on the night.

The event will take place in Stoke on trent. We are hoping to get into the Guinness book of records.

What does that mean? The winners of the race will get all the money for their charity?

Im defianetly up for that just make sure there are no kerbs in the way. :D

Heres how the charity thing works

The £300/team is for the use of the kart and facility for the 24 hr duration of the race.

Each team chooses a charity to raise money for. but you bring the first £500 collected as a team along and the total prize fund say 12 teams x £500 is put into the pot and raced for the money is then awarded to all the charities in different proportions as to where you finish in the race.

Every penny raised is redistributed to the various charitys

All funs raised as a team over £500 is sent by yourself to the charities concerned.

The Kart centre is tops with Computerised timing,Spectator gallery etc etc
