Little help here. On the auto box is a switch for Hold and Power. Can someone tell me what that does?

Hold - Keep it in the current gear?

Power - Extend the change up time?

Talking of power, the light wiht power written on it keeps coming on. What is that telling me?

On the shift lever, there is a yellow T at the front of the column, it's about two inches long any idea what this is for?

And finally.

There is a red button below the HiFi, it looks aftermarket, any ideas from the floor.

See I told you once I'd bought the dam thing I'd be asking loads of questions.

He He, it means you are flooring it, Good boy

As for the other buttons, you have it about right. For a more detailed explaination just click the search button and have a shift through the posts, there are plenty.

Cheers.

The yellow T, when pushed down, allows you to move the shifter with the engine off. Otherwise its locked.

Hold is a little more complicated, it goes something like this:

Pulls away in 2nd (or 3rd)

Wont go into first

Upshifts v early

Will only kickdown one gear

Use it in the snow/rain/etc, it reduces the chances of you kicking it down to far and losing the back end, and pulls away without spinning.

Power comes on automatically when you boot it, and then stays on for 5-10 secs. Obviously the button keeps it on.

So "Hold" is like the Winter setting on Mercedes auto boxes then. Cool I can understand that.
