People havent had much faith in the standard boost gauge and always recommended an aftermarket unit.

As to the boost pipe location I think Bob has fitted a few Apex units so may be able to shed some light.

Looking at all the tech "how to's" I think the location you've fitted the T piece is where most people have plumbed it in.

Since pressure acts in all directions it shouldn't make a tot of difference where you plumb it in..... (I know what I mean anyway biggrin.gif)

The standard jobby is about as reliable as a Rover so I know which guage I'd believe wink.gif

Jeff, my Apexi one has a solenoid which also goes in engine bay, does your Blitz have one, if so it must be fitted as close as possible to where you teed off for your vacume, but having said that i've always believed you should tee into the hose going from regulator to balance tube, same area about 7inches long and about 4mm diameter.
