Sold my MR2 yehaww.

 

It should go tomorrow in the afternoon for a small pile of cash. Unfortunately in the morning I will have spent a much larger pile of cash buying my new ZX - Ahh timing is everything, as ever mine is slightly off.

 

A minor logistical battle will occur, I need to pick the ZX up in Hemel at 10:30ish and don't sell the MR2 until 14:00 - hopefully the boss will not be too annoyed with two "Funday" cars in the drive.

 

I still have not quite got round to telling the boss about the 300 yet - she is going to need to run me to Hemel so I guess I either tell her tonight over some wine "Oh by the way cutie fancy running me to Hemel tomorrow whilst I spend a chunk of cash?" or tomorrow morning - "Lets skip the ironing and chores, lets go for a pub lunch - I fancy that old cellar bar in Hemel?"

 

Irrepsective - 10:40 tomorrow I'm on the back roads from Hemel to Milton Keynes in a black Jap spec, TT Whoo hoo. :dance: slightly over ten years to the day since I sold my Supra Turbo - which was also Black but not leather...

Ha ha. I can identify with this perfectly. A cunning strategy. They always fall for a pub lunch. Oh, we'll get the boring business of buying a new car out the way, then get away for that lovely lunch and day out YOU have been wanting.

 

I have even been known to hang about in Next admiring new dresses. All in the name of a good cause...
