Hi Guys

 

A few of us lancashire lads are wanting to get together and have a pint before christmas, but i think it would make sense being as there hasnt been a NW meeting for a while for us all to get together so who would be up for one before christmas, have some tea and a pint etc.

 

Any suggestions on dates etc.

As you know at the moment we're aiming for the Sat 6th december at 11.30am in the dog and partridge for a beer and burger! If we want to have a more 'official' one then i'm up for that as well.

 

I'll still probably go the dog though as i practically live in there anyway!:rolleyes:

 

Also maybe we could have a mini convoy down the prom on the way there? (being a bit sad now, sorry:slap: )

What about next weekend either saturday or sunday and try and make it somewhere more central, as much as i would like it 2 miles from me its not really fair on the guys from chester etc.

 

What about South Preston, there is a pub just off the motorway accross from a b&q warehouse or wigan, im sure there will be a pub somewhere just off the motorway there as well.

 

Come on put some suggestions to me guys.

Sundays are always better for me, if that's at all possible... I've missed so many meets through work or broken Z's I'd REALLY like to make this one!

I can also do the 21st but it's probably too close to Christmas for most people...

14th maybe if it's not to far away, are we talking about during daylight (ie lunchtime) or after dark!??

So guys its on the Sunday 14th December so what time what about 2 or 3 pm so its still light but late enough for stu to get over his hangover!!

 

And where, i suggest the pub near the b&q warehouse in preston cos it pretty central, just off the end of the m61 and 2 mins off the m6.

 

If this location is OK then i will post a map etc later.

 

And can i cadge a lift with any of the morecambe guys as i am zedless at the moment and i cant guarantee i will still have my company car by then!!

 

Be nice to have a christmas drink with you guys and will be nice to see if adam's car is running right (fingers crossed)

I reckon 2pm because it's pretty dark for driving even at 3pm this close to midwinter, and if it's wet it'll be pitch black by then! I don't think any of us are driving more than 40 mins, unless the Welsh (surely "Chester?") boys are coming?

 

I liked that pub when I went in a few months ago, so you've got my vote, and you're right, it's dead easy.

 

If you can't find a lift I'll shoot up to Morecambe first if you want, via one or two roads over the Trough. :D

I cant make it on Sunday because I am working. I would bring the boost leak detector but you need a foot pump or even a compresser for larger leaks. :S

 

What time is the meeting likely to finish?
