Why is it I never see any zeds newer than about 95? I have once seen a purple 1996 (I think) on the Autotrader site. Loads of people have 99 spec bumpers, but why do you never see cars up for import this age? Are they still hanging onto them in Japan? The importer who had mine said he used to have a Version R. But I have never seen a later one in the flesh.

You see loads of Skylines atc that are newer, but never a zed. I would have thought they would have been SOMEWHERE. Did they just not sell enough of them in later years?

models this late were only still on sale in Japan, and they love their zeds so much they just wont let go of them :p

Would've thought price was the main reason. What's the point in spending 10K on a late model 300ZX when you can buy a decent early model for 3-4K, the cars are essentially the same except for a few cosmetic changes.

I don't actually want one- just wondering why later ones don't come up, but you see loads of Subarus, Skylines, Supras etc that are later, and for more money obviously.

About 2 years ago there was a 1999 one with 1000ks on the clock for £19,999. Who would spend 4 times as much for one, and it would be slower.
