Chip

Had a post not so long ago about early limiting, and ive been advised that the best idea is to have the car chipped.

My car is a 1990, jap, manual, NA.

I read on http://www.ztechz.net/turboupgradeforvg30dett all about ECU tuning and how to reprogram an ECU. This is a job that i could never do. The site gives a programme that i could use but i have no idea how to go from this to getting the programme onto a chip then onto my ECU. Does anyone have any idea how to do this?

Alternatively, i could get my ECU done by JWT or somone like that. Is there anywhere in Britain that does chips for the 300? Dont want to have to send my ECU away to america... Ive also been told by a few people to avoid superchips.

If anyone could help it would be appreciated. I know very little about ECUs and im fed up with the way my car limits so early.

You can get the JWT chip from Zworld (See traders section) quite away from Fife, but he can post it to you for your old one. Yes you should def avoid Superchip, I had one once and caused det.
