Where the 'ell are they?

I was looking for the inside fuses last night - the ones that do things like radio etc.. Where are they supposed to be? I couldn't find the fuse box.. (How embarassing!)

Well, I only found this out the other day but look down in the drivers footwell on the right hand side. A panel pulls off and there they all are.

Yes and if your lucky there will be lots of spares pressed into the cover to save you a trip to Halfords!

Trouble is the legend is in japanese but some kind soul translated it. Do a search for the legend on this forum.

Or just replace the one that was buggered like I did.

Next problem is that the ones supplied by Halfords don't bloody fit ! They're too short and squat. Seem to need slightly longer thinner ones. Does anyone have a source for them ?

Found it..

Bloody hell.. Who put it there!?!?

Some S&M obsessed pint-sized jap technician no doubt, who was small enough to crawl up there with the accellerator pedal.... wink.gif

Also there is a nice plastic extrator supplied to get the fuses out. Neat. This stops you dropping the old one down the inside of the panel like i did before I used the tool. It's easy enough to pull the side panel off though to retrieve a lost one.

My Halfords supplied kit had a 10a and it fitted mine OK.
