Fitted my braided fuel lines last night...they look sweet! Lots of faffing about getting them round/through/under the strut brace and throttlecable cover but fit perfectly like this...

Did mine last weekend too - only obviously mine look better and the fuel will flow through them faster because they have blue ends ! ;)

Looking good mate, weren't as difficult to fit as you thought were they ?

Did you use the holes on the strut brace to get the fuel lines through?

Nice one Pete! Funnily enough I was looking at them on Smithys site just last night as I've had to change the lines twice already and thought I might as well go the extra mile and do it properly!:rolleyes: :D

The stock lines were through the holes in the strut brace bracket, but the braided ones wouldn't go through as they wont bend enough to then go under (and one past) the throttle cable cover from the top, which they need to.

 

I tried it and couldn't fit the cover back on.

 

I'm gonna paint the strut brace brackets soon, so it saves me pulling the fuel hoses off to do that now they bypass it.

 

Stu - thanks for the info about the vac pipe :) - tracing the flow I suppose its pretty obvious, but thats not to say I wouldv'e done it right without the hint :D
