Info on BOVs

As the origanal recerc valves leek i.e. let air through. When you fit BOV and block off the recerc pipe air that was leeking on the engine side of the MAF is now being drawn through it..etc

Can someone explain it to me.

For example. If you temp covert the recercs to bovs i.e. pull pipe off and block it works but engine runs like a pipe of poo poo. Why coz of the above? Well no, with the standard recercs theres still air leeking through, so less air gets to the engine coz now it goes to atmosphere...

I think I know what I'm talking about...

Just that like most I do like the granny scare whoost and with the induction kit the 'goose honk' started to get on mi tits...a lot.

Even get it to stay on at right revs, so sounds like a weak horn on perminantly.

I fancy the Turbo XS...check it out, hold the current record for being the loudest!

Anyone got them fitted...imagine what two would sound like!!
