Thats the sound my front offside wheel makes when going round a right hand corner.

I hit a kerb at low speed a couple of weeks back, thought I had got away without damaging my baby but it seems something has broken/come loose.

Could this be the CV boot/joint?.

Thanks

Ooops, should have been left hand corners.

Brake gently to a stop in a straight line, do you also get the clunk just before the car stops ?

Yes, and when coming off a speed bump.

Jack the car up and remove the wheel.

Check the tension rod bolt that goes through the bush, this should be really tight, if you can only tighten it 1/4 of a turn this may be enough to stop the clunk.

If it's not the tension rod bush bolt it may be your top link arms.

Thanks Stuart.

Well it sounds it could be really inexpensive or really expensive. I am going to be a busy boy this weekend.

I went up to meet Jock and Steve Middlemiss on Sunday and they ran a conzult on my Z for me (cheers guys).

Got some connectors and such to clean....
