Hi,

Having problems downloading any new programmes to my puta!

Have only about 10% disc space left if this could be an issue!

Have tried reloading windows XP!

When I try to install any new software it comes up with

Error 1606 Could Not access network location

.AllUsers\.

Help Appreciated!

10% of you disc is usually reserved for your recycle bin.

Also your computer used about 10% of your disc like memory to temp store stuff while it does something and then loads it back. If you start to use up that 10% your computer could become very very slow.

Uninstall some stuff you dont need.

As for the error. Are you on a network or anything?

Woahhh - that's one mighty full disk drive, TopLess - you should have (IMHO) at least 25% free if not more.

SYMPTOMS

When you try to perform an administrative setup of Microsoft Office 2003, you may receive the following error message:

Error 1606: Could not access network location: ?:\MSOCACHE\

CAUSE

This problem occurs if you use a local cache (CDCACHE) during the administrative setup. For example, if you try use the following command line to perform an administrative setup, the error message listed in the Symptoms section will occur:

msiexec /i full path of .msi file CDCACHE=2

Note: The CDCACHE option is only valid when you use the Setup.exe file to perform an administrative setup. See the Microsoft Office 2003 Resource Kit for more information.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, do not use a local cache (CDCACHE) when you use Msiexec.exe to perform an administrative setup.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
