Fair enough its the guys fault for not getting the insurance sorted sooner, but imagine losing £12K!

 

To I would say most of us on here, it take us years to pay that back or save it up!!:rolleyes: :slap:

The Fact that this guy has had his car nicked is not funny but the thread was to do with the fact that The guys he bought the car from posted the details in every section

 

I don't think anybody would laugh at this guys mis fortune

OK, posting in every section might have been an irrational thing to do but at least it shows that they're genuinely concerned by what has happened and are making every effort to help this guy out.

 

Some people would just turn around & say 'tough', so I think they're due some credit for their efforts.

 

I've suggested they post details on the SXOC & GTR forums.

Really gutting I bet, it was a beautiful Z. Very low milage and 2 seater TT. :D

 

I am sure if we see it, it would stick out like a sore thumb. How many 2 seaters are their in this country. Not many.

It's been found but has been in a heavy smash! Poor bloke. :(

He said he needs front cone, front wing, door and maybe some alloys as one of the ones on it was a bit smashed too. He is going to get it on a jig to make sure there is no structural damage.

 

If anyone can help out with the parts then maybe they could get in touch with Jap-City.

Which wing? Got a drivers side one. Got 2 doors but from a 2+2 they same as 2 seater? Oh, also got a headlamp panel too ;)

I'm not too sure TBH. If you get in touch with Jap-City then he'll probably be able to give you more info & could put you in touch with the owner.

 

The guy has been quoted £1700 parts & labour for getting it repaired which is not too bad considering, it could have been a lot worse!

I hate to see that happen to an excellent car and I'm sure we can all sympathise with the poor guy over having it nicked.

 

But FFS he should have insured it from the time he collected it, after all he had to drive it home didn't he?

 

That he is now out of pocket is his really own fault.

Well I've got all the bits to repair the car - they just need spraying so I'm sure the price would be much less. I aint the pony chasing the carrot though ;) If they want the bits then they need to get in touch....
