I just thought id write about these as my front bushes on the tension rods are on the way.

Iv been offered these nismo 1s and wanted to know if they where any good (theyre from courtesy nissan)

If i dont buy these what are the best 1s to replace the old bushes with as in macs earlier thread which is now really long to go through the poly 1s are supposed to be not so good for ur car.

What do i replace them with and if not them whats the next best subsitute

Cheers

Hi Fas,

I am in the process of fitting poly bushes from Z center as loads of guys from this site seem to have fitted them!

If there good enough for them its good enough for me!

Arthur

Hi Fas

I ordered before 3pm & the bushes were with me before 12 noon next day from the Z centre, they cost £42 set + pp.

Alot of them have fitted these.

Why not phone Jeff@ Zworld hes the specialist.

My poly bushes get pressed in tonight for fitting on Saturday.

Arthur

The Nismo ones are more like the originals with a steel sleeve.

This means pressing in using a proper machine shop press and drift. The poly ones can be fitted with a simple big bench vice - theres no steel sleeve to damage and you simply squash em in.

Bear in mind the debate above on poly bushes. Superflex supplied mine and so far no problems. I would be worried about any no name brand ones supplied by anyone in case these were related to the metal fatigue issue.

I notice theres been no admission as to the make used in the sticky case above
