There seems to be quite a few people up for it, so I have started to make the next step.

 

I have been given dates of when the track days are on after the new year, and you vote when you prefer.

 

If you vote please post reasons for that date, to get a clearer picture of what people want. Also say whether you could attend the other dates too.

 

After a date is decided I will ask about prices and then discounts.

 

I hope as many people as possible come. It would also be a great place for a meeting too and chat. You dont race all the time, you come and go when you want, so there is time to stand round and benter and challenge someone ;)

P.S. At the moment I am planning this as just the track day with no hotel room for the night. I would like to try make it a package thing with hotel too, but lets start simple.

However I will be staying over the weekend as it will be a nice break for me and the misses, and if any one else decides to do stay over I hope to get a few drinks together in the evening. If there are a few people thinking of staying over, I will see if I can get some discount for having a booking for quite a few people.

I voted for the earliest one because I'm an impatient bugger, and I also fancy a good slide around in the wet. (Guaranteed to be a filthy maor over the airfield in N Yorks in January!)

Above is a link to a video of a lap of elvington. Lots of long straights. Notice there is plenty of run off if anything should happen and notice how the car moves over to let some one pass. That is what happens.

 

Its over 9mb, so broadbanders are OK, modem people, down load it now so it may be ready when its time to log off ;)
