trying to test the boost

afer fitting 1mm mig tips

have a boost gauge(borrowed off a mate) until i get one

cant seem to get it to work

got some info off tt zs of dallas

but cant find right pipe

If its temporary, Tee into any of the pipes hanging directly off the balance bar. This will give true boost pressure at manifold.

Why is that only if its temporary? I plan to have mine there when I plumb it in properly... :confused:

Just saying you don't need to think about placing pipes, etc. for a temporary solution - quick and easy ;)

 

If you were to plumb one in permanently, I would certainly consider pipe routing, etc. And some of the vacuum hosing in that area won't give proper boost readings (e.g. if it comes from AIV solenoid, EGR, etc.)
