just got back from trax great day. about 20zeds showed. i was disappointed to see a 300zx do the 0 - 60mph run and only make a measly 8.6 seconds though. anyone on here *** ROD, i think the number plate was. dave w's car with its blitz wheels really stood out, nice motor mate

also the wide archers really let the side down. i was looking forward to seeing at least one more before mine goes into the bodyshop for the conversion.

i didnt really have time to notice but his start was absolute crap. lots of pulsars getting high 3's low 4's

Aye, damn pesky those pulsars on launches and 1/4's etc.

yeah, those Pulsars were unbelieveably quick off the line :eek: one did 0-60 in about 3.75 seconds.

Best was the Ferrari 360, only did a 4.47 - but it did it with sheer class ;)

I was I trax today but with some Ford enthusiats, so didn't get much of a chance to chat to any Z owners. Got some good pics of the line up though - agreed Lee, Dave W's looked very nice.

 

Next year when a few bits and bobs are sorted and I've got around to actually joining the club I'll be in there as well hopefully.

 

Out of interest there was a black UK K reg which was relatively standard except red calipers and clear repeaters - whose is this? Almost identical to mine - would be interested to see what problems etc it has had and how it runs.

 

Best track action of the day was defo the Abbey Skylines especially the whiote one which sounded like a rocket taking off!

As I said the timing gear at Trax is not to be believed as most cars seem to post ridiculously low 0-60mph times!.....Apart from that 300ZX!:D

Although I think you're an antagonisic git I will agree with you to some extent, the gear last year apparently didn't start timing until the cars were doing about 5mph.

This doesn't mean they didn't fix it this year.

Talking about the 0-60, did anyone see the classic turbo mini with the union jack roof and slicks on?? That thing was quick!!!!

Got a 6.18s 0-60. That's with exhaust/filter mods.
