Starting to like this diff now. Horrendus when it's cold, but stupidly easy to drift when its warmed up - or that might be the el cheapo 225 tyres!

Nice one John, we'll see what you're boosting on Sunday ;) Give the engine bay a good clean or Berks will give you a bollocking :D - I did mine yesterday :cool:

Come on Pete, I've never gone for that shiney engine stuff! As long as it works I really don't care!! If Berks wants to clean because it offends him though ....

The cusco diff is a plate diff, not a viscous one, so it transferres the power from the wheel with less grip more quickly. When you're going round a junction slowly, it squeals the inside tyre really loud - makes everyone look round as if you're a nutter, then they realise you're crawling!

On the bends and particularly for launching it seems to give more grip. It is pretty unforgiving though - if you lift off, even when you're nowhere near loaded up it snaps as the drive comes off and whips the back round - bit scary on a wet roundabout!

Clunks and rattles and bangs too when it's cold.
