Misfiring/hesitations

Hi,

I've had a problem with the famous "Hesitation Syndrome" - well described in numerous posts. I had done most of the checks and it seemed to be better. But a few weeks ago after being "chipped" it was more pronounced especially when trying a full mad throttle. It comes and goes but the last few days was very obviously showing.

So today after work I took my printout from the comp. on "hesitation" examined the wiring to the coils etc. all the usual stuff. Took out one connector and tried to get a spark plug out only to realise that my socket set didn't have a long enough piece to get the spark plug out. So I put it all back together again. There was no corrosion showing on the connectors anyway. Well after tightening up the bolts I decided to check the other bolts by the connectors and found one set was a bit loose and required a few turns of the ratchet to tighten it. So I wondered was that the problem solved.

Well I had to go out later so took it for a good fast spin as well and lo and behold it seemed better!

So I'll have to see what it's like tommorow as I've got to go on a longer ride.

Let's hope!!!

Geoff.
