Is it possible to see from underneath the condition and whether the centre bearing needs replacement ? Can you get to it to give a close inspection and determination ?

I replaced the transmission rear mount, but still have the vibration 30-50 mph.

Thanks

exhaust ..... heatshield ... then u get to the driveshaft and centre bearing !!!!!

she aint like a sierra

Quicker way is to raise the back of the car and look from the diff end to the front and raise and lower the proshaft by hand and look for movement at the bearing support, do not be alarmed if it looks like it is sitting at the bottom of the rubber bush they do tend to sit down a bit anyway, but there should be no perceivable movement and no cracking in the rubber support around the bush.

Thanks Jeff,

Can you actually see the rubber around the bearing, without removing any parts?

Thanks
