i am also interested in one of these kits from luke so would appreciate any info on ease/difficulty of fitting yourself

cheers ..lee

I fitted my interior from look myself, it took two weeks every evening. Quite hard work especially doing the seats but well worth it.

Geoff.

This is what I would do, and probably, eventually will end up doing, which is.........buy a cloth set which I expect is only a couple hundred £££ for the lot, get them releathered and then sell the ones I have.

Minimum loss that way and another set of original Z leather seats don't go to waste.

If a few of you want these leather kits from Luke,I can ask him to get a group buy going will be even cheaper for you;)

im not ready to buy one of these kits yet as i am about to have the exterior done but would be very interested in a group buy in the future.

geoff, did you actually have to do any stitching when fitting your leather kit

ps the car will b off the road end of sept 4 the winter so will advertise seats then ;)

I have one of these kits from Luke and the quality is excellent but it really is only as good as the fitter .

I had a local guy do mine cost £200 and he did do a puker job

did you have the full kit including doorcards dash etc. i am only down the road from you so when i get round to getting my kit maybe you could give me the details of the man who fitted yours.

cheers ...lee

After looking at the pics of lack300's interior i phones up a few companies who do car trimming and for any leather, piped, two tone etc including all the seats, door cards, dash and centre i was quoted £980 which i didnt think was bad and i'm not technical enough to do it my self :)

If in doubt pay someone

Kirbz

No Lee, there is no stitching involved in Luke's kit, everything is prepared for fitting.

Geoff.

At the moment I have a Green Filter but will be changing that to twin apexi's very soon , The green filter seems to work well though , the only downside I have noticed with the MINES is that you have to fill up with Optimax or turn the boost right down:(

ive only ever used optimax so wouldnt know. did you get detonation? twin apexi's? dont you need some sort of ecu reprogramme as you only have one maf sensor?

I'm still doing my homework on the various options but I think that's the route I will take
