I agree that the XS are loud and have a lower dump sound.

But lets see a comparrision vid then Macca to prove your theory :D.

What is it that produces the multiple "chirps" on rally cars?

I love that sound :p

i have it on good authority that that is the sound of the turbo stalling and the compressed air being forced back through the low pressure side and out of the filter. i.e. they have no type of dump valve at all.

I thought they all use anti-lag systems to prevent the turbo stalling ?

Nice vid Stu - However, HKS SQVs which is what I have, also sound good when you release slowly and get a long burst....but I do like the sound of the Turbo Xs is also pretty cool.

The "chirping" is the wastegate AFAIK. I thought they also had variable rate BOVs. I could be wrong.

Nice! And I too have mongoose rears but still catted, so it hopefully sounds nearly as good! Only way to tell I suppose is to get the missus to drive it (:( ) and see!

Cheers Stu.
