Whats the widest wheel spacer that can be used before things begin to get a bit dodgy?

Should they be used at all? and do the pins need changing if spacers are used?

Anyone out there bin using spacers with no problems?

Cos,why do you want them? wide arch?

I have 2,1/2" rear hub spacers fitted for 2 years without any problems, they are made from a very good grade alloy the blanc to make these costs £80 per side before any work is done.

Cos - I used 8mm spacers, they lasted a couple of months before a wheel came off :(

EDITED to say I have standard studs...

I've used 8mm front spacers for over a year now BUT I had to change to longer studs....

I'm with Ian on this one, don't use cast spacers, they are prone to brakage.

Syko racing made mine up from HE30 blank stock.

Rough guide is that you need 1.5x the stud diameter engaged in the nut to hold properly

The proof is in the pudding John,Alloy hub spacers DON'T cause any problems, cast spacers with poor bolt fitment WILL;)

So in other words. If you want to be safe and not sorry, buy ANtera 309s so that no spacers are needed and stay happy!

Tony(Lack300) if you are listening, what width tyres have you got on the back of yours?
