Just got my new intercoolers delivered today and really could do with a hand fitting them over the weekend , if any one has a spare few hours. (and knows how to do it)

Tried to remove the front bumper before and gave up after about an hour of removing every bolt I could find and it still would not budge.

Quite happy to travel and supply beer etc

Cheers

Where abouts are you bud?

I've not fitted any before myself but 4 hands and 2 heads should be better than 2 hands and 1 head. Supposedly.

I'm near Derby.

near Newbury/Reading

Derby :( that may be a little far mate

Nice one cheers Andrew , easy when you know how :D

Once you get the bumper off there's nothing to it :D

Presume they are replacements to go in the stock locations and not a huge FMIC?!

I had to remove one of the tow eyes to get the larger cooler in place but this wasn't the case on a UK car I saw.

Would be happy to help you out if you can bring the car round my place (about 15 miles north of Harlow), if you want.

Andy PM'd you mate

Bagins, if you are going over to Andy's at the weekend let me know and i'll come over if I can.

Its a piece of piss gettin it off, no more than 20 minutes work. The fun comes in remembering which sodding bolts and screws go in which holes when stickin it all back together!!

But with the collective knowledge present at Andys you'll have it done and be down the pub by opening time!!

Too right ! The trick is not doing it in the middle of December like I did. Was easy taking everything apart, car was still warm, all the pipes were soft etc. However, next day getting the then cold, rock hard, rubber pipes onto the new intercoolers was a real bitch. It's also much easier to get the front bumper on with two (or more) people ....

Sorry Andy, should have asked you first:eek:

I'll try and be there tomorrow,...if that's OK Andy.
