Hi all, just thought id let you know how my car is going. I posted a question a couple of weeks ago about a sticky gear shift ona zx tt manual I had just bought, also my radiator had sprung a leak and I was getting disheartened. Well the radiator is fixed, my sticky gearshift doesn't affect me as much now due to bigger biceps from using it and the car is running well. Also I didn't realise that my single exit exhaust had whats called a baffle fixed in it, a friend knew a bit more than me and as soon as he saw the large exhaust with a small outlet he quickly grabbed a spanner and pulled out a baffle about a foot and a half long from my exhaust. I thought it was loud before but my car now rivals concorde in the volume stakes, also im sure a couple of old dears had heart attaks when I went past, lovely. Lastly I have fitted my stereo, components in the front, with a JVC head unit, 12 disc cd bootloader and a four channel amp powering an infinity 12" sub and a pair of soundstream 6x9"'s on a custom made (by me) acoustic shelf. It all looks good and sounds quite nice to. The sun is shining, the birds are singing and after nearly two months of hassle my car is pucker, only cost £3,655 on top of the car to sort it, which means I can now appreciate it from my front room as I can't afford to fill it with petrol, oh well I get paid in twenty days!!!! Hopefully see you all at a zx meet. Thanks for all your help and advice.
