Shall i embarass him?

Featured Replies

i dont think he knows about zed's.

he asked me the 0-60 time a minute ago! He says the boxster does it in 6.6

Tell him the Z does it in 8:D:D:D Then watch him stick his car in the trader next week:D;)

My mate has a Boxster S -which is 3.2. Under 6 secs to 60 and top end about 165 mph, so not bad!

Normal Boxster shouldn't pose much of a problem though.

If you want to be sure of winning, race him from 60+ on the motorway. He won't stand a chance! :D

Not much does though! :D

The standard Boxster will give an NA Z32 a good run for it's money, although at higher speeds the 300ZX should pull away.

A TT Z should demolish it unless its an auto with a dodgy box!:D :p

Where abouts are you from?

If you are close to Derby/Nottingham, can I come and video tape it just incase he's not sure at the end? LMAO.

Wasted one of these last week and I am a totally stock car.

The look on her face was excellent as she thought she was the dogs b8ll8xs in her porker, then she got blown away by a 10 yr old Nissan!!

I did so enjoy that!!!!!

Get him wasted!!

Similar horsepower with 300kg less. I think that the NA will be in the rear view mirror!

Just had a bit of fun with my brother in his standard Boxster. Thought my TT auto with zost and intake should cream it - nope illusions shattered. I blame the heat causing the ICs to overheat:) or him slipstreaming me!

Over 50 miles of fast country road I could extend the gap with him behind me on acceleration but he was always there. He felt that the manual Boxter was faster at the slow end - but of course I think he was deluded (wouldnt I?)

So maybe at 110 plus speeds you'd begin to get away but nobody in a stock ish auto zed TT is going to cream a properly driven boxter in real world open road conditions - there is hardly anything in it. It is certainly no walkover. A properly driven S is got to be very comparable possibly better than a good manual stock TT and the boxter has decent brakes too as standard.

Only saving grace is his boxter cost 4 times what my zed did.

I think most reported kills against boxters are up against blokes worried how they'll make the £600 per month payments if they toast it!

You have to respect a nice bit of engineering.

my mates Bro' has a 3.2 one.

was sitting in the passenger seat with my mate driving & felt very unimpressed, my mate looked at me & said "not as quick as yours, is it!"

naaaaaaaah!!!

Maybe this lass wasnt trying cos there arent many gals that can drive a decent motor properly.

Still, her porker cost her (or hubby??) a lot more than my 300 and I'd much rather have my Z anyday!

Mate has a Boxter S, good shove from low down the rev range but nowhere near as quick in a straight line.

Brakes and lateral traction are another matter though, well impressed:D

Cost him 4 times more than my Zed though
