This may sound strange but does anyone know where I can get a plastic scale model kit of the 300ZX

I've been building model cars for some years but have never seen a Z32.

If any one knows of a manufacturer please let me know and I'll make you a copy of you own car for no more than the price of the kit.

Thanks in advance ChrissyP...

I did a search for 300ZX images and found a couple of model kits on the web.

Replicas sounds interesting, but how do you copy flash alloys!?

Got my Tamiya 300ZX just before last Christmas, from a shop (cant remember the name) on the upper level in the Broadmarsh Centre in Nottingham. So there were some available then!!

Aint got around to building it yet though:D

So you should be able to find them in shops around the country still. It wasn't too expensive either, about £15 I think.

Welcome back Warren -are you in SA ?

Tamiya model is pretty good except for it not being a 2+2 and the fuel filler cap is in the wrong place

That's because it's not a 2x2! :)

I've got a m8, who's a mad model maker, making me a 'stretched' Tamiya kit out of two that I supplied him.

He wanted half a dozen pics of the rear seats so he could get them right!

He's had it 6 months so god know when he'll finish. :D

Thanks guys

I would really like to get hold of any Tamiya kits so if anyone has seen any, or has any, they could pass on, eigther built or unbuilt I would be over the moon

as for making true replicas, wheels should be no problem I have boxies of them along with other bits and pieces.

I have also heard of some other Jap kit makers but as yet dont have the makers names so if any one can help it would be much appreciated

I have found severall models of the new 350 so I may have to start there.

Thanks again Chrissy P...

The Tamiya kits are a pig to get hold of. I ordered one from my local model shop in High Wycombe and it took 3 months to arrive. They may still have some though since my wife saw several on a shelf a couple of months ago
