Electric Seats...

It appears as though my drivers seat does not go as far back as the passenger seat...being over 6ft tall this poses a bit of a problem.

 

Looking (and listening) a little more closely it seems as though something is stopping it going back further...has anyone else had similar problems with electric seats? Any ideas what could be causing this?

    s'funny you should mention this!

     

    I have found a loose spring on one side of the drivers seat, which has always had a bit of play in it that I;d like to get rid of. I also noticed that whilst lowering it to the lowest position (after my wife has been driving!) that the seat decends smoothly, but then stops on the left and keeps lowering on the right by another few millimeters. I then have to raise it back up to get it level before I'm comfortable.

     

    I think I'm going to have to take the damn thing out and have a proper look. All advice welcome!

    RED ZED......now with new Clutch and Flywheel....

    Various Trim bits being spruced up.

    And I have just found where to get hold of the rear Fairlady Sticker and Black Baground sticker..which is peeling off.

     

    Eh who knows might even paint the Garage doors Salmon !

    Passenger ejector, er, electric seat is the difference between Series I and Series II innit?

     

    What's all this about height adjustment!?
