hi everyone, how do you reset the ecu fault code stored in it i had a temp senor fault shown(code 13), now ive replaced it but when i do a self diagnostic (with wire) it still shows code 13??

 

i disconected the ecu all night??

is anybody out there, ive read past threds on this but carnt find any thing about clearing the codes??

I think you need to disconnect the battery for an hour or so and that should reset it. I stand to be corrected though.

Robin is totally correct about resetting the ECU, battery off all night would have certainly reset it.

Sorry Jim didn't read your post properly.

 

If the code is still there that would suggest that there is still a fault on that circuit somewhere.

Check for corroded terminals or a broken wire.
