Just a quick one to warn anyone with an ebay account.

A friend of mine a couple of days ago got an email from ebay saying her account had been suspended for one month. Then she got another saying to re-activate her account she had to email them but with her credit card details again etc. In the mean time she had emailed ebay asking why she had been banned and of course she hadn't and the 'ban' email was from a bogus person/company pretending to be ebay.

She had already given her details to the bogus address and had to cancel them.

Not entirely sure the exact order of events but you get the gist!!

Jeez, do people actually still fall for that? Given the million-and-one warnings that eBay constantly send out telling you to never, ever, ever give your credit card details to anyone purporting to be eBay via email..
