Matty.

Think it has to be said that any performance car is expensive.

Every single part has to be stronger than average, and costs more. There is more engineering per square inch in a performance car than a normal one, and in something like a Zed (which is choc-full of bits and bobs) then there is so much to go wrong it's unreal.

The fact that you get in ANY car and turn the key and it starts is pretty much against all the odds! When they get older and are full of technology, the odds get higher and higher.

If you actually total up the cost of owning a performance car (especially the fuel and insurance!) then you sit there and have to wonder if there isn't maybe something wrong with you :D

If you want reliability, buy a Golf from a dealership. It'll cost you an arm and a leg, but you'll have a comrehensive warranty. It'll also be dull dull dull.

Saying that...(with a blown turbo sat on my driveway) you have 100% of my sympathies when you DO break down. And your car :D

We must have a pint sometime mate, the picture of Senna is hanging proud.

I'm always up for a pint - and glad to hear the picture is being appreciated.

One of these days, I'll make it over your way. I have been contemplating a paraglider flight over to you from the New Forest. It's a tad risky crossing the water but life's full of risks.

Unless you're buying a 300 from on here of course in which case it's a cast iron guarantee.

Bad Hairsy. In your bed.
