It says 59 at the time of posting and 42 are guests.

It also says maximum of 90 at 3pm on 4th July.

Where have all of those come from?

Do people who are in stealth mode appear as guests on the online list? Some of them are moderating according to the active users list

The really biziarre thing is that 40+ of the guests are coming from the same class C network. My guess is that the forum is being indexed by a multi-threaded search engine. Ever heard of inktomisearch.com ?

Maybe, but it also says 6 of the guests are registering.

Come on people, introduce yourselves :D

No they don't. "Moderating Duties" must refer to the document they are reading.

So what are they doing? Are they going through sites collecting data from them for their searches and indexes?

I have also read Guest is sending PM WTF?

Guest is reporting a post?

It's a webcrawler - it's visiting every possible page, god knows what it does to the server loading !

Shouldnt the moderators be doing something about this. Considering bandwidth costs, having a program go through every PROFILE! calender date, forum and trying vurtually every link, is using more bandwidth than every one using it.

It's a good job the 300ZX.co.uk forum doesnt get charged monthy for the bandwidth as we would be ****ed if we where. Just dont be surprised when the server closes us down to using too much.
