I saw it yesterday, it's been swiped down the drivers' side, otherwise ok.It looks as if it was in good order, done under 60,000 kms. It has Nissan BBS wheels cloth interior and a solid roof. He has sold the manual gearbox, but the engine and everything else is up for grabs. Hoped to get the PTU etc but he's waiting till it's pulled apart.

Would have liked the spoiler but it is the newer raised type.

Hi all

 

I bought this box and the ancilliaries.......but that means I've got two now and obviously only need one for the conversion.

 

Is anyone interested in one of them ?

Yes, do you know the working condition, if A1 and depending on price I will have otherwise AndyP will for sure.

Am I missing something or has this car been removed. Had a scout over the breakers and the salvage and cant find a 300 anywhere!

I'm collecting the box from Silverlake on Saturday. Since it comes with the ancilliaries I want to keep that one.

 

The other is from a guy called Ken at ZXS. He was recommended by 'Top-less'. He told me it was straight out of a driver and sound. Although there is no warranty as such he did assure me that if any problems then money back. I gave £450. Not looking for any profit.

Yes, I would be interested in a manual box, whether it's in perfect conditoin or needs a rebuild.

 

Just looked on this site http://WWW.silverlakeautoparts.co.uk and if you select the auction pictures for the Mondeo ST24 you can see a UK spec blue Zed in the background !

whats the rough cost for a rebuild? Im thinking of looking into it for my manwell

Will depend on what's broken. Don't think synchros are too expensive if you catch them early, before additional damage is done. Bound to work out at a few hundred quid though - it's a Zed !

I think I'll go to local gearbox place and have a word, newood transmissions, they are quite good.

Mark sorry to mess you about, have finally decided I am going to rebuild mine. Shouldn't cost that much more and guanateed.
