Lower Arms

how do

 

was offered 2 lower links .. brand new £150 odd guy says that 200 each new .. is there any point in gettin them ... do the lower links ever give any probs ?

can the ball joint be removed on it's own ?

as it doesnt look like it and ball joints will eventually wear

I only know of one lad in Edinburgh who needed these and got them from Courtesy. he said he had to buy the whole wishbones arm

 

The rear bottom wishbone ball joint does not seem to be weak on these cars but I guess if the rubber boot ever perishes it would go bye bye quick with dirt.

 

Had some debate on here about replaceable ball joints on the rear but I still think this had to do with the rear steering arm outer joint, not the lower suspension one. If it is replaceable why supply new wishbone arms?

 

At least new arms would also have new bushes as well!

it front lower arms ..... guess there is never a prob with them then
