Can someone tell me what is the best way to upload some pictures? I just got my car back with it's new interior and thought some of you would like to see it (?)

Can I attach the pictures to a post (and if so how?) or is there a better way?

When you put post a message at the bottom of the page there is a botton called Browse next in the section called Attach File.

Click browse and select your file you want to attach. They cant be more than 1/4 of a megabyte, or 256,000 bytes and can only be, pictures (gif jpg png bmp jpeg) or other a few other files such as PDF, TXT, ZIP and stuff like that.

Thanks Stuart.

For being so helpful, you get to be the first to see the beast's new threads - actually, there's no threads left, it's all lovely soft smelly leather! - yummy!

I love the ribbed look thing.

That looks really nice.

Thanks,

I was inspired to keep the stitching lines that were on the original cloth seats after seeing a z with retro leather with just plain backs. It didn't look quite as good to me, but everyone's taste is different.

The best part is the smell!

It actually feels like a brand new car now.

Well my wife hasn't been in the car since it came back from the upholsterers! and I won't be posting any more on that subject either!

BUT the seats were ribbed before, now they just feel as good as they look.

The inclusion of a kicking ICE system also means that I want to drive even faster! OOOPS.

Nice one Nigel,

Geoff.

Can I ask how much, how long it took and where did you get it done ?

My seats are getting a little tatty now.

Thanks mate,

Sure can, but I hope you're sitting down!

I got it done by the guys at http://www.sqplus.com

They're specialists in ICE really, but they do just about everything 'aesthetic' to do with cars, including the interiors.

I had all the cloth trim replaced with leather (bought from Bentley apparently!), plus the handbrake and gearstick gators to match, then to top it all I had the binnacle over the dials trimmed to match also (well it was lose and looked like it needed some TLC!)

They took the car for a whole week, but also added sound deadening and fitted a new head unit and front door speaker together with a loom to the rear for new rears and a cd changer (going in later).

The leather was £1600 inc vat

and the sounds were £660 ish

I did do quite a lot of ringing around before I went here, but the prices weren't a lot different anywhere else, and these guys have an impressive track record and reputation. - They did the Alpine demo car for example, and they are constantly doing £10,000 ICE installs for rich bastards!
