I've sourced a supplier in the US who can supply the following clutches at the stated prices:-

£290 shipped for the 6-puck

£305 shipped for the street disk

These prices include shipping. Hopefully they will be shipped 'VAT friendly' too ;)

If interested email the guy direct on:-

sales@limecreekmotorsports.com

or

jdm-direct@austin.rr.com

Nothing for me in this - just seemed a good deal if anyone is ready for a clutch...

I had mine replaced from Nissan on my import. They fit the original Nissanclutch. Can't remember the excat cost, but including fitting, it was in the region of £300

yeah but up the boost at any point and its buy buy clutch, stock clutches really cant handle a power increase.

Thats a good rpice duffman :D Wish my clutch would go now (no chance of that happening lol- flipping thing )

That'll be Nismo Freak freak then. :)

Hi Andy,

I wouldn't get the street disk for your car - reckon you've got more ponies under the hood than I have, and the ACT was slipping on the dyno :(

So....saving pennies for an HKS twin plate (or similar) £1200-ish.

BTW, this means I have my ACT for sale, and am open to offers, but you'll want to buy a new friction disk since mine has been cooked :D (Not even a rear old yet - got box, stickers, etc)

I've got the 6puck on mine, and it's not too bad for every day use. Engagament is pretty harsh but OK when you get used to it. Also gotta be careful on downshifts, best to heel & toe or you can lock up the rears if you bang it down at high revs.

No sign of slip, but I'm only running stock turbos.

Is there anything in between these and the HKS mentioned - do I really have to budget for £1200 next time my (recently fitted by previous owner) stock clutch goes? or is there something else that can handle up to, say 450BHP?

I have the ACT 'street clutch' on my zed. It handles uprated power with no problem.

The pedal action is stiff though, and like "Yorkies"- they're "not for girls" :D:D

Oh yeah, I've also snapped two clutch release pins in 12 months
