Hi every one i am just about to buy my first zed can not wait to get it i have allways wanted one but could never justify it untill now can some please tell me is it easy to change the cloth seats to leather seats

where would i go to get them and how difficult is it to do m

p.s. where's your salon, my local one (it's a barbers as well) is only ever full of grotty 40-50 year old wimin with skin the colour and texure of old brown leather... :-)

Obviously you can buy kits and do it yourself, and though many people have done a pretty good job of this , judging by some of the cars on this site, you won't get the same results as you'd expect from a professional upholsterer.

 

After quite a bit of research I decided on the latter approach and after shopping around found that going rate is likely to be around £1500 + vat and it will take about a week. Going this route you can have some neat custom features, like stiching in contrast patterns etc.

 

I added a few extras to mine to get the price up even further and the car is in now having it all done. I went with the same hide they use in Bentleys as the Leather cost is a relatively small percentage of the whole.
