0-240mph in around 40 seconds isn't bad really is it? :p

He was very slow to 60, about 5 secs, then when he finally put the front down at 140,:rolleyes: accelerated much faster upto about 190mph :) speedo hits the pin (220mph) at 10,000rpm, then he carries on to just over 11,000rpm... :D :D

The odd thing was that even at 140+ mph the world doesn't seem to move very fast in that video. I've done up to about 165 on my old bus of a bike and it seemed much faster than that - maybe it's just because you don't get the same sensation of speed in a video, like the eye watering draft around your visor with your helment pressed flat back against your nose etc, not daring to move outside the little air bubble behind the screen incase you get blown off ...

Not sure about the rest of you and I'm not trying to start the old "My Z's not fast post" but at 140mph in a Z really doesn't feel like 140mph in any other car I've driven. I have to use 140 as an example because all the other cars I've had would have maxed out a little before this.

 

I was doing 140mph on a nice clear private road/track ;) the other day with a friend in the passenger seat, I said to him how fast do you think we are going, he said about 100 or so. There were no other cars around so I guess it's hard to tell, but I thought he would have got a bit closer to the mark. I mean 40% is a lot of difference.
