Ok, so who do YOU think are the worst people on the road? Just recently I've been flashed at, beeped at etc even people swerving at me, because I overtake them - if they are gonna sit at 30mph in a 60 zone, I AM going past! So why do they flash? These are the ones that get my vote. These people are just damned dangerous on the roads - I think the police should be able to do something about these people.

 

So who gets your vote then???

I dislike the fools who want the 30 foot space in between you and the car in front - then they hop in and out of the traffic all the way down the road - total winkers. Its the one time I speed up to make them go past the next car as well - they only do it once.

 

I like my gap!

 

Roundabouts - dont start me on them - If I ever get hit thats where it'll happen - someone will straight line it and go right into me - I've been up on top of roundabounts to avoid them in the past!

How about those twats that dont use their MIRRORS, especially on Mways. there you are travelling at a nice even *** and out they come, you flash, hoot and then they look at you when you go by as if to say I did indicate!! so whats the problem.

 

I also agree about the drivers with hats, very self centered , unaware of whats going around them, give them a wide berth!

I shouldn't really answer this as it gets me angry. I suffer form Road Rage like you wouldn't believe. I tried to get out and smack a guy and his mates who cut me up and then gave me the finger. Stopped at a set of traffic lights and I got out unarmed, but like a man possessed and then the driver gave a little wave and floored it through the red light - to$$er !!!!. All that martial arts training about respect and disiplin goes out the window. Self defense turns into mortal combat.

 

I hate:

1) Boy racers who turn their front fog lamps on with 9 million watt bulbs because they think it makes them look cool.

2) Lane hoggers

3) People who don't indicate, if you want to pull in front of me, incidate and I'll usually let you go if it's safe to do so.

4) People who park opposite a junction, causing massive traffic jams when someone wants to turn into it.

5) 16 year old moped riders who think that the road is thier playgound (unlike us where it is :D)

6) People who think that a police car doing 65 in the slow lane of a three lane carriage way means go the same speed in all three lanes. Overtake them or get behind them. I'm sure they don't mind if you are doing 73mph.

7) People arguing with their other halves or kids while driving.

8) Everything else everyone has already said :o

I just remembered another one that really gets on my tit ends!

 

Bus drivers that decide to pull out while you are half way past whilst on a narrow road with traffic coming the other way, who THEN, have the audasity to give you the finger.

 

Don't get me wrong, I think that being a bus driver must be a very stressful job at busy times, and having to keep to a time table must not be easy either but some control needs to be upheld. I blame the schedulers.

 

However, one thing I must say is that, after reading everyones gripes, I must admit that I agree with 95% of what has been said. Makes you wonder if we spend more time p*ssed off and agressive, than we do actually chilled, whilst driving?

I just had a gary boy run me off the road and made me total my mitsubushi eclipse. He was trailing a van doing 45 in a 60. I signaled, overtook, then while right beside him, he changed lanes, collided with my car, and threw me in a spin. After flipping a few times my m8 and I exited the car only to find out he treid to flee but some witnesses ran him down. Outcome, my m8 and I: 5 hours in hospital Him: not even a traffic citation!!
